Sneak Peek Mrs & Mrs W - Soon to be a family of 4!

Well, the time finally came - my last session before hanging up the camera until I give birth and what a better way to end it with a maternity session for such a special couple!! You know it's been an awesome session when the clients haven't even made it out of your street and you are inside uploading their images!
Mrs W is carrying twins and looks georgous, although she did often make me wonder if I was holding my camera wonky, if she was standing wonky, or if the babies were just laying in a wonky position.
This couple were wonderful, up for anything and everything - so much fun to work with!! Mr W wins my 'best husband to photograph ever' award. Most husbands have that awkward, uncomfortable look when they rock up to their session...longing to be elsewhere, but Mr W was not only cooperative during his session, he was also a wonderful assistant. PLUS he can multi-task!! Do you think he resembles Blair from Neighbours as well?
OK all jokes aside, there is something really special about this couple. The eminate so much love for each other and are going to make the best parents to these special little miracles.

Here are a few teasers from today's session. There are so many more to come - stay tuned!

Master H - {Melbourne Newborn Photographer}

WOW...I am so very lucky. I have many wonderful people in my life who support what I do and who are more than happy to lend me their children to photograph when I need them to.
Elissa first lent me her children back when I was building my portfolio. I am amazed that time has flown by so quickly - it's hard to believe that I took these first images below of Will and Grace almost 12 months ago now.

Today I had the pleasure of photographing the newest arrival to their family, Master Harry.

Thanks you Elissa for having me in your home today, especially after such a sleepless night. I look forward to watching your latest miracle grow.

Just one more... {Melbourne Child Photographer}

Another one of my favourites from my little session last week with Miss P. We are both very excited as tomorrow I am putting down the camera and having my own maternity + Mummy/Daughter photo shoot with the talented Miss Kristen - I will be sure to link those sneak peeks as soon as they become available!
Have a lovely weekend!

Some Oldies - Ms Jure {Melbourne Newborn Photographer}

I went back through some old files tonight and found these. I don't think I even edited them first time round.
I can honestly say I am amazed at my 'then' and 'nows'.
My how time flies though, this little one is crawling around all over the place now!

My Girl - {Melbourne Child Photographer}

I have been using this down time in shooting toddlers to concentrate on capturing my own little person more. These are some captures taken over the last week of the school holidays. I have definately decided to commit to making sure I take more photos of Miss P - as time really does go by so quickly. Soon enough she will be telling us how she has met the man of her dreams - and in the blink of an eye we will be planning a wedding for real. We best start saving now I think!

Sneak Peek - Rachael {Melbourne Maternity Photographer}

*Squiel*...it's so exciting to have some colour to work with again!! I have shoved Rachael out the door and begun editing her session straight away. I hope I didn't bruise her!
Beautiful light, awesome location and a STUNNING mum-to-be.
And of course, Rachael was also very, very tall. I must be destined to shoot maternity from a step ladder!

Dear Rachael,
Thank you SO much for a wonderful afternoon, I had so much fun hanging out with you. You look georgous and I think the decision to head outside was a good one. Now, I know I said I would only edit 3 images before picking Paige up - but I couldn't choose...so here's 5 quickies for you!!

Sneak Peek - Tracy and Family {Melbourne Family Photographer}

A while a go TRacy lent me her youngest so I could work out how on earth you shoot older boys! You can see his photo shoot here: http://http//chrissytorneyphotography.blogspot.com/2008/09/sneek-peak-matthew.html Today I had the pleasure of meeting some of the other 'boys' in Tracy's life as I took some portraits of her family.
Dear Tracy,
Thank you for trusting me with creating some lasting memories of you and your family. I hope these are what you had in mind. Your Mum is adorable and yes, your sister is the sporty one! I now have to work out how I explain to my husband why I smell of men's aftershave - do you think he will believe me when I say it was an innocent hug goodbye from your dad?
I wish your dad all the best in his return to good health and I will speak to you soon!

Paigey and the new blue chair.

Paigey decided today that she would be my 'supermodel' and model my new $30 bargain retro look blue chair. I love her to pieces - take a look at the posing!! It really does feel like I never get a chance to photograph her anymore, so today was a wonderful experience for us both. Maybe the break did us both the world of good!
